Anne Allen Westbrook to seek Georgia House District 163 Seat

Johnson Kraeuter attorney and community advocate Anne Allen Westbrook announced her bid for Georgia House District 163 on Monday, March 16. House District 163 includes parts of the Historic District at its northern boundary, runs south through the Victorian District, Thomas Square, the Starland District, Ardsley Park, Kensington Park, Habersham Woods and Fairway Oaks, includes the Eastside at its eastern boundary, Cuyler-Brownsville, Liberty City, and Tatemville to the west and parts of Mayfair and Halcyon Bluff farther south.

A graduate of Hollins College and the University of Georgia School of Law, Westbrook has been practicing family law with Johnson Kraeuter, LLC, since 2013. She previously served as the Pro Se Staff Attorney for the Superior Court of Chatham County and was an associate attorney with Bouhan, Williams & Levy, LLP, now known as Bouhan Falligant. Westbrook served as the State Legislative Lead for the Georgia Chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and is a Cultural Affairs Commissioner for the City of Savannah.

Westbrook’s major policy goals are expanding healthcare and ending Georgia’s maternal mortality crisis, promoting public safety through sensible gun laws, protecting and expanding quality public education for all Georgia children, and empowering local governments to address issues of local concern.

“I am running for House District 163 because I love this community and I am passionate about good government. I want to use the skills I’ve honed as an attorney and advocate to help move this district and all its residents forward.”
