Cheryl Hunt is a dedicated Paralegal with nine years’ experience specializing in family law and personal injury law. Cheryl holds a strong background in legal research, case management and trial preparation.
As paralegal for partner R. Scot Kraeuter, Cheryl plays a key role in supporting complex legal matters. In addition, she assists all partners and attorneys within the firm, ensuring cases run smoothly and efficiently. A true team player, she is well-liked and respected for her caring nature, kindness and willingness to help. Known for her attention to detail and ability to keep cases on track, she ensures that attorneys and clients alike have the support they need.
Cheryl is passionate about helping clients through some of life’s most difficult moments, offering not just legal support but also empathy and understanding. Whether guiding families through legal challenges or supporting injured clients in seeking justice, she brings compassion, professionalism, and efficiency in every case.
Paralegal Cheryl Hunt received her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Savannah Technical College in 2019 where she was inducted into Lambda Epsilon Chi (National Honor Society for Paralegal Students), Phi Theta Kappa (International Honor Society for two-year college students who excel at high academic and scholastic levels), she was also on the President’s List, Dean’s List and was a finalist for Savannah Technical College’s 2018 Student of the Year.
During Cheryl’s paralegal studies she had internships with Georgia Legal Services and Cerbone Law, where she was hired on as a paralegal prior to graduating. Cheryl has worked with Johnson Kraeuter since 2019, is a member of NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants) and is in the process of obtaining her Paralegal Certification.
When not in the office, Cheryl loves spending time with her daughter, family, close friends along with her hound dogs May and Lina.
